Welcome!  I'm Stefani and I am the chief soapmaker and shepherdess at Feathered Horses Farm.  Thank you for visiting my Farm Store.  I am currently selling fiber from my sheep and handmade soap on this site.  If you are interested in buying sheep or horses please visit the farm website at the link above.

I started making soap about six years ago.  At first I made hot process soaps in my crockpot - which was fun but not very customizable.  I really wanted to make soap with vibrant colors and fun patterns.  So I stepped over into the world of cold process soap and here we are!  Soap has always been one of the products I hoped to sell but it took some time to get ready to go.  My soap is made of natural oils - coconut, olive, avocado, castor, babassu, sunflower, and/or sustainably produced palm oil.  I also use shea butter and cocoa butter to make the soap rich and luxurious.  Occasionally I use animal products such as lard or goat's milk.  Stay tuned for soap made using milk from our sheep - extra creamy!

My husband and I live with our cat, dogs, sheep, horses and chickens on a farm in Idaho.  We raise two rare heritage breeds of sheep - to learn more about our sheep visit our farm website or about heritage breeds (The Livestock Conservancy)  We bought bare ground in the fall of 2015 and we have been building our farm since.  Follow our adventures on my blog (Blog – Feathered Horses Farm).

I am so glad you stopped by!  If you make a purchase - thank you so much - and I look forward to hearing what you think of the soap.  Take a look at our 'On the Drying Rack' products to see what soaps will be available next.

Cheers and happy scrubbing!
